The SMB/NAS Share node allows users to connect to shared network folders using the SMB protocol. It supports access to file shares on both Windows and Linux environments.

Configuration Steps
- Server Name or Host – Enter the server name or IP address of the SMB host.
- Supported formats
- Hostname – file.core.net
- IP Address – 192.168.1.1
- Supported formats
- User Name – Enter the username used to authenticate with the share.
- Supported Formats
- domainname\username
- computername\username
- .\username
- Supported Formats
- Password – Provide the password associated with the user account to access the file share.
- Exclude Symlinks
- This option is enabled by default. It prevents symbolic links from being included in the file scan.
Path Configuration
- Provide the Path to Your Data – Enter the folder paths to include in processing
- Expected Format
- path\todata*
- Click “Add Another Folder” to define additional folders
- Expected Format
- Provide the Path to Exclude
- Expected Format (same as Include)
- Click “Add Another Folder” to exclude more paths
